Vince Tropea Recipient of Trustee Character Award

A 猫咪AV Trustee Character Award was presented to Vince Tropea, a valued and longstanding staff member at St. James Public School, for exemplifying the Board鈥檚 values of Inclusion, Respect, Integrity, Empathy, and Responsibility every day.
The 猫咪AV is pleased to name Vince Tropea as the recipient of the Trustee Character Award for not only his exceptional dedication as a student support professional, but as a dependable and helpful member of the St. James Public School community for the past 23 years. Mr. Tropea offers support to students academically and through his funny sense of humour when a student is down, or through his caring and calming nature when a situation needs de-escalating. Mr. Tropea is an intrinsic member of the school community. He has organized intramurals, coached various sports teams, built benches for the community firepit, connected with community partners to expand school partnerships, and so much more. Vince is always the first to lend a hand or to offer support in any situation and his commitment to making St James a better place is evident in everything he does.
