| Elementary | Elementary schools will be open for information and registration beginning on Monday, August 26, 2024 during regular school hours. |
| Secondary | Secondary schools will be open for information and registration beginning on Monday, August 19, 2024 during regular school hours. |
| JK | Year One Orientation: Students will be invited to visit the school with their parents/guardians on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Schools will communicate the details to parents/guardians directly. |
| Staggered entry format: Students start as early as Friday, September 6, 2024. Most Year 1 students will be fully attending school by Wednesday, September 1 1, Schools will communicate the details to parents/guardians in June. | |
| SK | Senior Kindergarten: All students begin Thursday, September 5, 2024. Students will attend the full day. |
| Grades 1-8 | Elementary School: All students begin Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Students will attend the full day. |
| Grades 9-12 | Secondary School: All students begin Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Additional information may be communicated by the school directly. |

| Adult Education | Lakehead Adult Education Centre: Lakehead Adult Education Centre (LAEC) Beginning August 20, 2024, LAEC is open for pre-registration on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30am to 12:00pm and 12:45pm to 4:00pm with extended hours on Wednesdays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
